IS BUSH AIDING PAKISTAN'S NUCLEAR PROGRAM?

Mark Kleiman raises the question: "Is Bush deliberately helping Pakistan nuke up?"

Even now, despite a wealth of supporting evidence, I hesitate to question Bush's patriotism. It strikes me as being more a case of his believing "What's good for General Bullmoose is good for the USA," to quote the old Li'l Abner refrain. I honestly believe the Bush true believers think the survival of the nation depends upon their securing another term for Bush.
