MOVE ON FEELING THE PINCH?
I just responded to an email from MoveOn asking me to participate in a bake sale for Obama (more sweeties?). I finally (should have done it long ago) sent back a reply asking to be removed from the mailing list and spelling out my reasons for doing so.
What I got back was an automated reply headlined, "Don't Go!" It included a comments box and asked for the reason I'm quitting. The "reason" box was a drop-down menu, where one of the options was, "MoveOn's endorsement of Obama."
Think they've lost more than a few subscribers/members because of that?

Take three deep breaths. Read Thomas Friedman in the NYT today.
Sally
I already did. And the day Tom Friedman tells me something I can actually trust will be an infinite number of "Friedman units" away --
It's nice that Arabs and Muslims abroad are excited about Obama (notice they don't say anything negative about Hillary) -- it's one of the few pluses I put in his column when I was considering all the candidates --
But I'm more concerned about how we Americans look at our country and our people. Obama's victory in the primary process wasn't clean and it wasn't a fair representation of Democratic voter preferences. I have no clear idea how Obama is going to govern, what principles he adheres to, what core values he would fight for. And I'm certainly not going to vote for a candidate I don't know any better than that. And if he doesn't HAVE any of those ideals, I'm not going to vote for him either.
Hi, Sally! When are we having lunch?
You're mad at the media and the bloggers. Obama didn't do it. He's been quiet and gracious while the process played out. He does have your values. You'll hear it when you can listen without anger.
Lunch Tuesday the 17th?
Sally
17th is on my calendar!
See, dear readers, a Hillary supporter and an Obama supporter can still be friends!
Even if she thinks I'm not thinking clearly ...
I discovered that k9course's dog training system helped me to get the different aspects of training organized into the correct order for really making some progress. They offer a complete step-by-step system. It's like having a professional dog trainer at your side without the high cost. After all a well-behaved dog is a pleasure to own.
